Membership is drawn from the aviation industry, without discrimination on account of nationality, tribe, religion or sex, but based on the level of maturity and attainment in the chosen profession.

The ASRTI also create a forum for players in the aviation industry to rub minds together, towards effectively rendering advice and informed choices to Government on Air Transportation.
